Aman Kyoto Owner, Adrian Zecha`s Friend The resort consists of a series of standalone latticed pavilions that pay homage to the traditional Japanese ryokan inn, each serving as a window to spectacular natural surroundings.
The spacious 165.7 square metres (1780 square feet) suite features a living room, a traditional Japanese Tatami room, Western dining room and kitchen area. Bedrooms feature natural woods, floor-to-ceiling windows, tatami flooring and tokonoma alcoves, and are connected to the living-dining area.
Vlad Doronin - Owner, Chairman and CEO Vlad Doronin acquired Aman in 2014 with the desire to uphold the brand`s unique vision and experience, while also expanding its offering to guarantee its longevity and success.
Throughout his decades as an architect, Kerry Hill was not one to subscribe to any formal design methodology. Instead, he spent his career in thoughtful pursuit of authenticity, allowing his work to realise itself through place, purpose, and material.
